The Clark County Planning Commission estimates the county increased it's population in 2010 to 2,036,358--up from 2,006,347 in 2009. Clark County attracted an influx of new residents during the beginning of the decade, but suffered a severe drop in new residents since high unemployment and plummeting real-estate began in 2008.
